Location/traffic   

With an area of 7,105 km2, the Grisons is the largest canton by area in Switzerland. It lies on the North-South axis Munich/Stuttgart – Milan and borders on Italy, Austria and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The canton Grisons has a dense, well developed network of roads and railways. 

 

Road transport 

The Grisons is linked via the E43/A13 with Munich /Stuttgart - Milan and via the A3 with Zurich/Basle. The important European business centres, Stuttgart, Munich and Milan can be reached by road from Chur in 2 - 3 hours.
