With an area of 7,105 km2, the Grisons is the largest canton by area in Switzerland. It lies on the North-South axis Munich/Stuttgart – Milan and borders on Italy, Austria and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The canton Grisons has a dense, well developed network of roads and railways.
