Tuesday morning shortly after 09.00 a small explosion took place in the basement of the Morosani Posthotel in Davos. Nobody was injured. At no time were the hotel’s guests in any danger.

The blast did, however, cause some minor damage, including a few broken windows. The cost of that damage has not yet been ascertained.

For the time being, no statement can be made about the cause of the explosion or its perpetrators. The forensic team has now left the premises.

The Office of the Attorney General has launched an investigation and will be responsible for providing any further information.
