The Grisons offers well-located and excellently developed industrial sites with more than 300,000 m2 in total, at attractive conditions and available for settlement and expansion of export-oriented companies. Focus is placed on the needs of high-tech industries such as life sciences, medtech, biosciences, ICT, photonics, sensor technology, automation, mechanical engineering and chemistry.

Excellent international transport connections

The most important industrial sites in the Grisons are located on the transit axis E43/A13 Munich/Stuttgart–Milan and provide excellent access via the E60/A3 to the metropolitan areas of Zurich and Basel.

Available at simple and flexible conditions

Persons resident in Switzerland or abroad can obtain business property and land in the Grisons simply and without the need for a permit. As a rule, both purchase and acquisition with building rights are possible.

Industrial zones for export-oriented companies

  • Domat/Ems: The Industrial Park Vial is the largest purely industrial zone in the Grisons. The US medtech group Hamilton recently opted for this location.   • Zizers - Landquart: Direct highway and rail connections make Tardisland one of the most sought-after industrial zones in south-eastern Switzerland.   • San Vittore: The San Vittore industrial zone is located in the Italian-speaking part of the Grisons on the E43/A13 motorway just north of Bellinzona, the capital of Canton Ticino. Land prices are very attractive for the currently available 19,000 m² of land close to the Gotthard transit axis E35/A2 Milan-Zurich.   • Chur: The cantonal capital provides companies and their employees with an attractive, urban infrastructure. A total of 22,400 m2 of land is available with building rights and at attractive conditions on the Pulvermühle and Sommerau sites.   • Fideris - Jenaz: Internationally successful tech companies such as TRUMPF, Georg Fischer, WITTENSTEIN or GRITEC have already settled to the greenfield site in the Prättigau region. Another 100,000 m2 of land between the research locations of Davos and Landquart open up room for entrepreneurial innovation.   • Cazis: Located directly adjacent to the E43/A13north-south transit taxis, the Realta industrial zone is an ideal starting point. Just 15 minutes away from the cantonal capital of Chur, 68,000 m2 are available for development in an expansion zone that can be developed for attractive projects.
